Call for Abstracts for SCNet Symposium at SPNHC 2016

iDigBio and the Small Collections Network (SCNet) are pleased to announce the upcoming Small Collections Symposium at SPNHC 2016, to be held in Berlin, June 20-25.

The 2016 Small Collections Symposium is entitled: Blending the Educational Resources of Small and Large Collections for Training the Next Generation of Museum Professionals.

We invite presentations from small and large institutions on current museum-based educational and workforce training initiatives, the development and sharing of novel educational or training modules and resources, the involvement of graduate and undergraduate students and early career professionals in collections digitization initiatives, graduate and undergraduate internships and courses focused on experiential learning in collections management and curation, and future directions for natural history museum workforce development focused on students and early career professionals.
