iDigBio's Paleo Digitization Working Group is pleased to announce its paleo digitization webinar series for 2015-16. There are currently ten webinars scheduled. The complete calendar can be found at the working group's wiki at https://www.idigbio.org/wiki/index.php/Paleo_Digitization_Working_Group. All are scheduled for 3:00-4:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Presenter: Scott Foss

Topic: Federal Collections Discussion Session Part 2-DOI Museum Collections and Non-Federal Partners

The bureaus of the Department of the Interior (DOI) have a mission that requires them to maintain and track museum collections, but very often the bureaus lack the staff, infrastructure, or funding to collect, maintain, or utilize those collections. Therefore, the success of the DOI museum program depends on the professional input of its non-federal partners.

Please join us on Tuesday, February 16, at 3:00 pm ET (1:00 MT, 12:00 PT) for an iDigBio webinar and discussion by Scott Foss, BLM Senior Paleontologist, and Elizabeth Varner, DOI Staff Curator.

Date/Time: 16 February 2016, 3-4 p.m. EST:
