Introduction

The Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG) 2017 annual meeting was hosted by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa, Ontario, the capital of Canada. The theme of this year's conference was "Data Integration in a Big Data Universe: Associating Occurrences with Genes, Phenotypes, and Environments".
