Introduction:
Due to a large amount of interest in specimen photography workflows, there will be an in-house workshop on techniques for imaging collection items at the Florida Museum of Natural History (FLMNH) organized by staff of iDigBio and the FLMNH. The workshop is geared towards collection staff, and will be an opportunity to exchange expertise in imaging techniques and workflows to aid in future digitization endeavors. Presentation topics include specimen imaging protocols from various FLMNH divisions, manual camera operation, image organization, image use in Specify, and more.
